At KENDA Europe, we design our products to last. With the right care and maintenance, you can extend their lifespan significantly. When the time comes to replace them, here’s how to care for and dispose of them — including recycling options where available.
Steel wheels
Care:
✔ Clean regularly, especially after exposure to dirt, chemicals, or natural elements like grass. ✔ Store in a dry place to prevent rust.
Recycling:
When they reach the end of their useful life, steel wheels can be recycled at local recycling stations or sold as scrap metal to traders or scrapyards.
Alloy wheels
Care:
✔ Clean after exposure to dirt, chemicals, or natural elements. ✔ Avoid harsh cleaning agents that could damage the alloy finish.
Recycling:
Once damaged or worn out, alloy wheels can be recycled through local recycling stations or sold as scrap metal.
Rubber tires
Care:
✔ Maintain correct air pressure during use and storage. ✔ Use the correct load capacity for your application.
Recycling:
When it’s time for a replacement, tires can be recycled through specialized European recycling centres.
Polymer tires & wheels (PP/PU)
Care:
✔ Follow recommended load and speed guidelines. ✔ Use under proper working conditions to prevent premature wear.
Recycling:
When they need to be replaced, PP components are recyclable at standard facilities. PU recyclability varies by location — check with your local facility.
