For more than two decades, Hapert has relied on tire and wheel solutions from KENDA to match the demands of their professional trailer range. The partnership’s foundation is durable products, a dependable collaboration, and consistent supply. These three pillars help Hapert deliver on their customers’ expectations: premium trailers that can handle anything, every working day.
This is the story of how long-term collaboration helps keep professionals moving.

High customer satisfaction, minimal downtime, and trailers aligned with the reliability demands of professional users
Founded in the 1950s by Ad Saris, Hapert specialises in purpose-built trailers for demanding professionals.
Today, the company employs around 100 people and produces trailers fully built to order, combining craftsmanship with industrial efficiency. Hapert focuses on the professional segment, offering solutions for industries such as construction, landscaping, and infrastructure.
Industry: Professional trailer manufacturing
Solution: KENDA tire and wheel solutions for on- and off-road trailers
Hapert’s trailer range covers open trailers, box trailers, tippers and machine transporters. Thanks to the high steel content, in-house robotic welding and Hapert’s continuous work on improving materials and production processes, their trailers are known for high quality and many options for customisability.
For Hapert’s customers, a trailer is a working tool. Because it is used daily across construction sites, landscaping jobs, and infrastructure projects, downtime means lost business. As Marc explains:
“Our end-users drive from A to B all day, 5-6 days a week. If they have a flat tire, they have a problem – because they need to get to the next job.”
This puts pressure on every component. Tires must withstand heavy loads, varied terrain, and constant use – without failure. And they must match the overall durability of a product designed to last.
With a 10-year chassis warranty and a reputation as a premium brand, Hapert cannot accept weak links in the build.
At the same time, production runs at pace. With around 40 trailers leaving the factory each day, Hapert needs partners that can keep a steady, reliable supply.
“You cannot have a trailer that lasts ten years, and tires that fail after six months. The whole product has to meet expectations.”
– Marc van den Molengraaf, Hapert Trailers
Hapert’s collaboration with KENDA dates back more than 20 years and has developed into a long-term partnership built on three equally important factors: a reliable product, competitive pricing and a stable supply chain.
“For us, it is not just about the product. It is price, product, and supply – three equal parts.”
KENDA’s tire and wheel range supports Hapert’s large variety of demanding use cases, where specialised options and custom builds take the main stage. Many of Hapert’s trailers operate off-road on construction sites, in landscaping, and across uneven terrain, and KENDA’s unique KENDA KR103 MasterTrail XC has become an increasingly popular option among Hapert’s professional users.
Just as important is supply stability. KENDA’s European distribution setup, including local stock and support in the Benelux region, means Hapert experiences shorter lead times and direct communication.
“It helps that there is both a global setup and a local presence. We can talk to KENDA’s people, solve issues quickly, and keep production running.”
– Marc van den Molengraaf, Hapert Trailers
The collaboration also allows for flexibility. Working directly with KENDA as the manufacturer of both wheels and tires, Hapert can adjust specifications when needed to ensure the right fit for each application.
The KENDA KR103 MasterTrail XC is purpose-built for off-road use. The design combines high load capacity with stable, reliable performance over long distances and mixed road conditions. Its reinforced radial construction and balanced tread make it ideal for construction, forestry and other industries where the terrain gets rugged.
The result is a product that meets the expectations of Hapert’s customers: a durable, reliable trailer, ready for continuous use.
Hapert’s customers do not ask for a specific tire brand – but they expect performance. And they are willing to invest in reduced downtime and lower overall cost of ownership.
“Our customers want reliability from the tires. That is what matters. If the trailer rolls, they can do their job.”
– Marc van den Molengraaf, Hapert Trailers
When refining existing designs and exploring new concepts, Hapert’s approach is rooted in close collaboration with trusted partners. One example is their ongoing project “the trailer of the future”, where new materials and design approaches are explored together with selected partners.
For Hapert, progress is not developed in isolation, but through strong, long-term relationships.
“On our own, we cannot do anything. That is why we believe in long-term partnerships.”
