Founded in 2011, TwinTrailer develops patented TwinTrailers that combine machine transport and tipping in one solution. The company focuses on professional users such as landscapers, contractors, and wood processors who rely on efficient loading and unloading throughout the working day.
The company grew out of founder Stefan De Rycke’s garage where his hands-on building and testing of early concepts has grown into a strong business continually refining its core concept and developing features based on real customer needs.

TwinTrailers combine machine transport and tipping in one solution. The trailers are continuously improved with new features, such as onboard battery indicators, remote-controlled functions, and integrated customer support systems.
TwinTrailer builds trailers to simplify daily work. With one quick manoeuvre, users switch between a transporter and a tipper. No need for ramps and no steep angles.
That dual design saves time on every job. But it also raises the bar for the product’s reliability.
“Our customers use their trailers every day. They need to load machines quickly, move between jobs, and keep working without interruption.”
This pushes the tires and wheels to perform under constant use. Trailers move across uneven terrain, handle repeated loading cycles, and operate all day without pause.

“As a manufacturer, we need to know exactly what our components can handle. We cannot rely on assumptions.”
That requirement became critical when their previous tire and wheel supplier changed their wheel design without clear communication.
“We suddenly had customers reporting cracked wheels, and no clear explanation or test documentation from the supplier.”
Without validated data or a clear technical explanation, TwinTrailer could not guarantee long-term performance. So in 2022, the company started looking for a partner that could support both product reliability and documented proof.
TwinTrailer turned to KENDA with a clear requirement: show the data. They requested detailed documentation on wheel performance, validation methods, and testing standards. The response was swift.
“We asked for proof of stability of the wheels and received complete documentation very quickly. That gave us the confidence to switch.”

“Our customers do not want to think about the tires and wheels. If the trailer rolls, they can do their job. So the fact that we did not hear any complaints after the switch is exactly how it should be.”

By balancing load more evenly across axles, the system helps maintain consistent ground contact in uneven terrain, and also includes integrated weight monitoring, giving users direct insight into their trailer load.
Designed to fit standard axle positions, the ThoraX can also be adapted by other manufacturers, making the technology applicable beyond TwinTrailer’s own trailers.
