The move marks a continued investment in KENDA’s European logistics with a better setup for serving customers in the Benelux region and a focus on reducing energy use and environmental impact.
KENDA relocated its Belgian operations from Arendonk to Turnhout in February, and the new location has been fully operational since March 2026. Designed and built by the Bolckmans Group, the 8,000 m² facility is centrally located to serve the region and enables KENDA to continue offering an efficient operational setup while also minimising CO₂ emissions.
The operations centre is one of six European sites that help KENDA provide fitting, distribution and sales support close to their customers.
KENDA invests in continued efficiency
The building includes almost 6,800 m² of warehouse space and a 1,500 m² fitting area. It is equipped with two semi-automatic assembly lines and eight fitting stations for tires ranging from 3″ to 17″.
The streamlined operations help KENDA improve workflows and continue to provide reliable service to their customers.

Lower-carbon design and construction
Beyond continuing good operational efficiency, sustainability was also a key consideration in the design of the new logistics centre.
Bolckmans selected lower-carbon construction materials, including CEM III B concrete and XCarb® steel, to help reduce the CO₂ emissions associated with the building’s construction, while glulam timber beams store carbon within the structure itself.
Day-to-day energy consumption is reduced through high-performance insulation, solar-control glazing and heat pumps, supported by intelligent building management systems. The facility has rooftop solar panels and an on-site wind turbine and is powered by 100% renewable energy sources. Rainwater is also reused on site, with excess water managed through an on-site infiltration system.
With the new Turnhout facility, KENDA continues to investment in efficient operations, responsible business practices and the infrastructure needed to support customers today and in the years ahead.
